Jay Wade:
Founder, Operator, Father
Welcome! After serving 23 years in the United States Marine Corps, I set out on a new mission – to build a company with lasting value. OKC Land Works is a family-owned and operated excavation business grounded in the same principles that guided me in service: integrity, hard work, and attention to detail.
We handle every part of land development – from clearing and grading to site prep and full-scale land management – but what matters most is how the work gets done. Every project is built on respect, honesty, and pride in craftsmanship.
Outside of work, you’ll find me with my wife Amy and our four kids – the reason I’m building this business to last. Family means everything to me, and I carry that same mindset into how we treat our clients and the land we work on.

Hunter Wade:
Co-Founder & Operator
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Hunter learned the value of hard work early — spending summers running equipment on farms and learning the land firsthand. When his family teamed up with longtime excavator Jeremy Clark, he helped co-found OKC Land Works to bring that same work ethic to projects across central Oklahoma.
A Marine Corps veteran, Hunter brings discipline, precision, and leadership to every job. His girlfriend and daughter are his biggest motivation – the reason he holds every project to the same standard he’d want for his own family.

Gentry Wade:
Operator
Gentry brings steady focus and a no-nonsense work ethic to every job. He’s been running equipment for years — handling excavation, grading, and site prep with the same care he learned long before stepping into a machine.
Before OKC Land Works, he spent years racing motocross, where he learned to stay sharp, read terrain, and keep control under pressure. That discipline carries over from his firefighting work to every site he’s on.
Within the crew, Gentry’s the steady hand — the one who keeps things moving and standards high. For him, it’s simple: do it right, stand by your word, and take pride in what you leave behind.
