1. Agreement to Terms
By engaging OKC Land Works for services or using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
OKC Land Works provides land clearing, excavation, site preparation, and related earthwork services in central Oklahoma. Specific services include but are not limited to:
- Land clearing and lot clearing
- Foundation pad preparation and site grading
- Driveway and private road construction
- Pond excavation and basic water management
- Light demolition of small structures
- Basic maintenance of previous work
3. Estimates and Contracts
- All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
- Written contracts are required for all work exceeding $[AMOUNT]
- Verbal agreements may be accepted for smaller projects at our discretion
- Project scope may be adjusted based on site conditions discovered during work
4. Payment Terms
- Payment terms will be specified in individual contracts
- Final payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements are made
- Late payments may incur additional fees as specified in contracts
- We reserve the right to place liens on properties for unpaid work
5. Property Access and Preparation
- Client must provide clear access to work areas
- Client is responsible for marking utilities, property lines, and items to be preserved
- We are not responsible for unmarked utilities, boundaries, or items
- Client must obtain necessary permits unless specifically agreed otherwise
6. Liability and Insurance
- OKC Land Works carries general liability insurance
- We are not liable for pre-existing property conditions
- Client assumes risk for unmarked utilities, boundaries, or underground obstacles
- Weather delays and site condition changes may affect project timelines
7. Force Majeure
Work may be delayed or interrupted due to weather, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to complete work as scheduled but are not liable for delays due to such circumstances.
8. Changes to Work
Changes to project scope must be agreed to in writing and may affect pricing and timeline. Additional work discovered during the project will be discussed before proceeding.
9. Warranty
We warrant our workmanship for [TIME PERIOD] from completion date. This warranty does not cover damage from weather, settling, or conditions beyond our control.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, under Oklahoma state law.
11. Privacy
We respect client privacy and do not share project details or personal information with third parties except as required by law.
12. Website Use
Our website is for informational purposes. We reserve the right to update content and these terms at any time.
13. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
SMS Program Description
OKC Land Works offers an SMS messaging program to communicate with customers and prospects regarding our land clearing, excavation, site preparation, and related earthwork services. By providing your mobile phone number on our website contact or quote request form and checking the SMS consent box, you consent to receive recurring SMS text messages from OKC Land Works, including but not limited to:
- Appointment confirmations and scheduling reminders
- Estimates, project updates, and job status notifications
- Follow-up messages related to your service inquiry
- Promotional offers, service announcements, and company news
Message frequency will vary based on your account activity and the nature of your project.
How to Opt In
The only way to opt in to SMS messages from OKC Land Works is by submitting your mobile phone number through the contact or quote request form on our website at okclandworks.com and affirmatively checking the SMS consent checkbox at the time of form submission. By completing this action, you confirm that you are the mobile account holder or have the account holder’s permission to use the provided number, and that you are 18 years of age or older.
OKC Land Works does not enroll customers in SMS communications through verbal agreements, email requests, or any method other than the website opt-in form described above.
How to Opt Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates charged by your mobile carrier apply to all SMS messages sent and received. OKC Land Works is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier. Contact your wireless provider for details on your plan.
Carrier Liability Disclaimer
OKC Land Works and its SMS service providers are not responsible for delays or failures in the delivery of SMS messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Age Restriction
You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in to the OKC Land Works SMS program. By submitting the website opt-in form, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. OKC Land Works does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
